And the signed prints from Kinuko Craft... I want one so bad. Do you know how much of a hero Kinuko Craft is to me? Ahhhhhhhhh!

ANYWAY - on to my own updates. This week I seriously have to be stern with myself, and take a break from dA. My new tutorial for Advanced Photoshop is due on the 12th, and I need to get busy with it. But, you know what that means? A new 'Captain Persephone' piece is on it's way!! Yes, they want me to make a new Captain Persephone for the magazine, and for the tutorial. Yeeehaw!! So thanks to *mjranum and his fabulous steampunk models, we shall once again be in print!

So unless I get the tutorial finished before the deadline, I am going to be pretty sparse around here this week. I'll check in, but no new art or anything. And if you see me here... pinch me and tell me to GET BACK TO WORK! lol

After that, I have commissions up the wazoo. I've got a huge ongoing project with Duirwaigh Gallery in the works, which will take me all the way through to this winter, and then some!! I'm working with Danny of the Seattle band Blackbird Orchestra [link] on several commissions. I've got a big project slated with TattooedSteel.com, which could start any time. There's also my own book of artwork that I am putting together, which I am hoping to have done and ready to sell by this fall. And then I have several smaller projects that are simmering as well, and needing to get done in between the rest. Busy? YES. Happy? YEEEESSS!!

Good thing I have a ton of new music that keeps me inspired. Radiohead's "In Rainbows" has been on heavy rotation around here lately. Man I love that CD!! So has Muse's "HAARP". Mmmm, good stuff.

Also, for you steampunk Abney Park fans in the LA area - they'll be playing an awesome show at the Edison on May 25th. This is one you do not want to miss!!


SO that's my upcoming schedule. Thanks so much for all of your support and constant encouragement for my artwork. Even if I don't get a chance to get back to you personally, know that it has real impact on me, and makes me smile through and through.
