Shadows act like a sundial for a man waiting for the inevitable.


Took this while standing on top of one of the towers of Warwick Castle, Warwickshire - England. The man didn't know he was being photographed from high above. I was drawn by the way the shadows looked, and how solitary he seemed in the vast green garden he was sitting in.
