(Please do not repost this on Photobucket or Flickr!) --------------------------- "In yonder far-sequestered pool the wild white heron stands with stately mien and regal air, King of these watery lands..." Laura Coster Strong 1904 ------------------------------------------------------- Original size: 300dpi 10"x20" So I unplugged the Intuos tablet for this one. I wanted to do a 100% pure photomanipulation, the way I used to do it. Mainly it was to inspire myself... since I've been so distracted and busy lately. I was thinking of some of the beautiful hand painted tile frescos I've seen in my travels... and thought this might look good tucked away in a lush grotto somewhere. Definitely a 'deviation' from my normal work... but I love to keep things unpredictable, and I hope this falls into that catagory. It is heavily inspired by one of my favorite artists here on DA, ----------------------------------- Stock Credits: (All from sxc.hu) Koi: [link] Lilypad Pond: [link] Heron: [link] Tiles: [link] Textures: My own |
