Every artist has a boneyard. A place they fling the things they started, and for one reason or another...have never finished. This is just a small portion of my boneyard.

Some of these I intend to finish someday. Some caught air on a good idea, and then fell flat after a few hours of work. Some I finished, but never really quite liked the outcome. Either way, they sit on my harddrive, ignored and abandoned, poor things.

For every finished work you see posted here, there are a couple of pieces that end up in the boneyard. And that's okay. Sometimes you just have to follow an idea, and see what sticks. Don't be afraid to shelve it. You might have a breakthrough on it at a later date, or maybe not. Sometimes a person just has to admit the idea was a stinky toad, and move on. I know I do that, frequently.

Anyway, now that I let the lonely, neglected pieces get a little daylight... it's time to get back to work.

Please, don't fav this. LOL It's not a work of art, but more of an example to fellow artists not to get down on themselves if they end up scrapping a lot of their ideas. It's all a treasure hunt. If anything, why don't you make your own boneyard, and link it here!!
