Non ho piú catene ma solo piange
il cuor lontano da te
Non ho piú catene perché so che
il tuo amor é so per me....

I look to the sky and I know
where you are, what you do
and wherever you will go,
you will hear my sighs
they are only for you and
they talk about my love.... - Senza Catene - Il Divo

This is one of those pieces that I have a hard time catagorizing. To me, it's more of a surreal/emotional piece. I purposely didn't sink her toes into the sand.... I wanted her on that fine edge, between warmth and shadow.

I personally love the cooler side of the picture more: her long, flowing hair and scarf, the cool dark shadow of the dune... but then the warm side sort of pulls me back. Another great piece, suitable for staring at for hours... :D

balanced between two states,
not in stasis, but a dynamic dance
between two worlds

in that knife's edge
of the moment
is infinity...

I love the way you made her look as if she is on the edge, not fully in light, nor in shadow. Beautifully portayed.

It's really nice...but, shouldn't the sand be rippling in the wind as well? just out of curiosity... :blushes:

Thank you!

It's more surreal than anything... I purposely didn't sink her toes into the sand for that reason too. :D
