This is one of those pieces that I have a hard time catagorizing. To me, it's more of a surreal/emotional piece. I purposely didn't sink her toes into the sand.... I wanted her on that fine edge, between warmth and shadow.

I personally love the cooler side of the picture more: her long, flowing hair and scarf, the cool dark shadow of the dune... but then the warm side sort of pulls me back. Another great piece, suitable for staring at for hours...
