(Please do not repost this on Photobucket or Flickr!) --------------------------- Sneak Preview Time! The Shell Maiden. A work in progress. Something has changed within me as an artist with this picture. This year, I have vowed to take my time with my artwork, rather than rush through for the eagerness of a finished product. What usually took me a day, maybe two at the most... is now evolving over a week's time, or more. When I think I am finished, I sleep on it. When I wake up in the morning, I see so much more to be done. Fresh ideas have formed. I am able to let the image shift and change. What I swore was an essential element when I first began is easily discarded after a few days. I am truly appreciating the flow of having patience with my creations. This piece is almost done. She has been nearly two weeks in the making. Final blending, details, and color corrections are in the works. I'm enjoying the fine tuning more than ever before. She is being made specifically for a project in the works, and may not be fully revealed until it's debut. Until then, I hope this piques your interest.  ---------- Credits - to be announced |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
