"Your Captain shall be boarding the dirigible any moment now...."

EDIT: LOL I just have to say, in this instance - the following phrase never fit so well: MIND THE GAP! If you've ever been on the Tube in London, you'll know. ;) :giggle:

It's been far too long since I've delved into my Steampunk daydreams! :D

I would love to feature this image for my Sunday Sketches column on my journal. [link] Full credit and multiple links back to your DeviantArt profile will be given.

I write historical fiction and fantasy and find this portrait inspiring! Please let me know if that would be alright. Thank you!

Thank you for allowing me! I love your image (wish it were real!) :D I did have one question though. Since there's no "download image" button from your page, what's the best way to re-capture the image to feature on my blog's article?

Do I have permission to do a "screen capture"? That would get the same image but might slightly affect the size (based on my rudimentary cropping abilities).

Again, full credit for your image will be featured on my blog. I usually include 2-3 links in the article back to the artist's profile.

If I don't hear back from you, I'll assume the screen capture/cropping is okay. Thank you so much again and I hope you stop by my journal to check out the article!

Happy new year!

Actually if you right-click the image, it should save to your computer? Give that a try! If not, I can email you the image. No problem! :D

Thanks for the reply.

I have a Mac so the right-click feature doesn't automatically appear like it does on a PC. I was able to control right-click and it downloaded just fine, so the image should appear without alteration in the Sunday, January 29th, 2012 post on my blog. [link]

It's again such a fantastic piece of artwork! I love dirigibles! My current work-in-progress is inspired by airships and it's always fun seeing how other people imagine this form of travel taking flight.

Thank you again!

I don't like heights and as I was looking at this amazing image I suddenly saw 'the gap'!! My stomach flipped! A wonderful creation, I have to say.

Thank you so much! I know exactly how that 'flip' feels, I don't like heights either. lol How fun it is to know this piece has that impact on others! :D :D

I know, strange isn't it? And I can get it flown blown just by watching a movie, or seeing a picture. That flip comes, and I get chills all the way up the back of my legs! LOL

I am exactly the same.
AND I cannot stand seeing big things underwater. I LOVE whales but cannot look at them in films. And as for submarines - EEK!!! ( I know... I'm weird!!)

Ok - this is really weird...I am THE SAME WAY! I adore the ocean, but actually *seeing* something big under water gives me huge heebiejeebies! As a kid, when I'd take my little raft out on a lake we used to camp by, I absolutely could not paddle over any big fallen trees in the water, or giant rocks. Creeped me right out! I'd row WAY around them. LOL I wonder if it's connected in some way?

OMG!! That is so very weird!! I think you are the first person to have the same feelings as I do. I wonder what it could be caused by. Very interesting... *strokes long beard pensively*
lol.

Oh this is fantastic!! I love how I can see that a lot of this did start out as a train probably, but it's been so seamlessly editted to become the dirigible.. just too fun!

Deliciously rich colors. I love a piece where I'm able to sink into the shadows and bathe in the light all at the same time. That's definitely what you've allowed me to do here.

Is that Sherlock Holmes and his trusty Watson inside? If so, I'd gladly leap that gap to take a trip with them. :)
