Into The Stones by Foxfires Into The Stones by Foxfires
I like being able to see in between the monoliths at Stonehenge. Easy to imagine the shadows of people throughout the centuries walking between them.

Thank you Grunta! It was actually pretty surreal being there. It's almost overwhelming finally walking up to those stones and thinking "I'm ACTUALLY at Stonehenge!!!!".

Beautiful! Love the light and colors in this shot. So green-eyed with envy, too! I want to go there so bad! Ugggh!
So glad you got to go! I bet it was a blast!

Oh gosh, you would love it!! I hope someday you get to go! If you do, I'll help you plan! I know all the good, inexpensive B&B's to stay at (they treat you like royalty!), and all the ways to cut corners so it's not too expensive.

Sometimes it's hard to believe I was really there! lol

If my ship ever comes in, I will indeed go there. And I will contact you and get all the pointers that I can get, can bet on it. I have a cousin, (she has money) and she travels a few times a year. Never fails to hit Ireland (another place I crave to go) at least, at least once a year. I get green-eyed with envy. She smuggled rocks home to me, so at least I got to touch them. :)

Oh I hear you on the Ireland part. I'd love to see Ireland! And funny you should mention rocks... I pick up little stones wherever I go, so it's like bringing a bit of that place back home with me. :D That's so cool your cousin does that for you!

You too? I am rock crazy, also! I have a thing about picking up rocks from trips. I have even picked them up at grave sites, I am that bad. I write on the underneath of the rock, if space permits it, where it came from. I rubbed off on my youngest daughter and she has collected a huge collection over the years. But my favorite still are the ones from the Irish Sea that my cousin brought back for me. Someday maybe our dream will come true. If it happens for you, you have to tell me about it and share your photos! :)

It's so cool to look at a pretty jar of rocks, spill them out onto a tabletop, sort through them and think of the places they came from! Lots of mine have also come from one of my favorite places on earth, Cannon Beach - Oregon. Gotta post some shots I've taken there soon!

I even have some pressed leaves, as well as feathers that I collected when I was in England. Ivy from castle walls, and feathers from here and there, wherever they had been shed. I hope to make a collage with them!

Very nice border choice! I know that seems a bit weak since it's not really focusing on the actual piece, lol. But it really draws attention to it w/o taking anything away or being distracting. I'd love to go there one day and try to unlock its secrets...
