Cashmere Rainbow

So a summer thunderstorm rolled in on Saturday. One of my favorite things to watch! This is the view looking east from our yard. It's a hard one to beat, that's for sure.

It seems like every year right around cherry harvest, a storm like this comes in, and there is always a gorgeous rainbow to see. I snapped one a couple of years ago that literally stretched from left to right, touching both sides of the valley. So it is a gorgeous sight to see, but a nightmare for the orchardists who don't want to see their cherry crops ruined by rain or hail.

This storm stayed fairly calm though, and only threatened with lots of booms and rumbles from afar. I sat and watched for a long time, and snapped some pics. Figured I'd share this one, since you can actually see a double rainbow forming!
