Another photograph taken on the Oregon Coast, after the huge storm blew in. The light through the twisted trees was amazing. Other than the border, this photo has had no adjustments made to it.

I figured this would be a lovely picture to post, before heading on my vacation. I hope you like it as much as I do. :) :kitty:

Thank you!! Oh man, it was. Just like burned gold, melting out of the sky. We stayed there for a long time, just watching and enjoying. :D

After the storm had passed, they crawled out from under the Sitka spruce. Damp from the rain, but but largely protected from the spruce's dense foliage and each other's arms, they walked in the after calm.

Surrounding and silhouetting them, the Golden Sunlight warmed them gently. As if in apology, from the Earth for her tempestuous outburst. As if She, always caring for Her children, was giving them warm hugs and delightful loving touches on their skin.

The air, diffused with a golden fog, the silhouettes of the Earth's landscape, continued the magical translocation, the lovers were still content, driven towards each other by sheer beauty and wonder, as just an hour ago, they huddled under the tree's branches, in cool goose-bumped fear of Her terrible wrath. Safe in each other's arms they found comfort, and now shared awe. Lingering often, verity in Natural glee.
